The 14th International Symposium on Fireworks kicked off on October 14 in Changsha, attracting over 300 experts from home and abroad to discuss the development of fireworks industry. It is the first time for Liuyang, the birthplace of fireworks, to hold such forum which is also one of the six main activities of the 11th China (Liuyang) International Fireworks Cultural Festival. Cao Lijun, secretary of the CPC Liuyang Municipal Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech.

Six grand fireworks feasts featuring cultural diversity and artistic fascination are scheduled at Changsha Orange Isle starting from 8 p.m. on October 15 and 17. The feasts are expected to be presented by six well-known domestic and international companies, including Dun Pai Fireworks Group, Sunny Fireworks and Hunan Dream Fireworks Co., Ltd.
